"I am drawn to the mundane and familiar objects that can hold our most precious memories. How they hold tightly and so deeply some of our most deep fears and intense worries. Our insides, repeatedly poured onto their outsides. Inanimate objects that cradle our most spirited moments. Their exterior worn away over time and repeated touch.

Some replicas of vicious and fierce animals, turned into cuddly creatures with big, bulging eyes. I rip them apart, remove their insides, turn them inside out, return their insides, and stitch them back together. Represented now as a ghost of their former existence, exposing all of the their vulnerabilities in their loose threads."
